About Maria Brown

For 28 years Maria Brown has worked alongside restorative, cosmetic, implant and comprehensive dentists, helping their practices grow through stronger leadership, better patient experiences and treatment acceptance systems that hold up under a full schedule. She has seen what separates a practice that grows from one that only stays busy.

Technology and artificial intelligence keep changing dentistry. The fundamentals of patient care have not changed. Relationships matter. Listening matters. Understanding fear matters. Financial conversations matter. Patients choose the practice where they feel heard, understood and cared for, and Maria's work is teaching teams how to be that practice.

She has coached, consulted, lectured and trained dental teams to raise case acceptance, patient retention and profitability without high-pressure sales. Her method is quieter: find out what the patient wants, address what worries them, and shape a plan that fits their life so they move forward on their own terms.

Her consulting builds customized systems around the patient journey. Every interaction, from the first phone call to long-term maintenance, should reinforce trust and consistency. She helps practices set clear workflows, accountability, measurable performance metrics and team rewards, so everyone in the building is invested in the result.

In her most recent leadership role, Maria helped a single-doctor restorative practice add more than $1.2 million in production in nine months, while the team ran more efficiently and patients rated the experience higher than before.

Her background covers cosmetic and restorative dentistry, implant treatment coordination, practice management, marketing, business development, leadership coaching, team training, speaking and teaching. Her mission is simple: help great dentists build extraordinary practices through remarkable patient experiences, high-performing teams and systems that keep producing results.

The problem

Why Reel Patients exists

Most dental practices struggle with problems that technology alone cannot solve.

  • Low treatment acceptance
  • Inefficient patient systems
  • Team communication breakdowns
  • Inconsistent new patient experiences
  • Underperforming marketing
  • Fear-based patient decisions
  • Lack of accountability
  • Staff turnover
  • Doctors carrying too much of the workload

Many practices believe they have a marketing problem. In reality they have a patient experience problem. Reel Patients helps practices build systems that make patients feel understood from the first interaction: no cookie-cutter manuals, no scripted sales presentations, only systems designed around the practice's doctors, team and patients.

Why we do this

Mission and vision

Mission. To help exceptional dentists build extraordinary practices through relationship-based systems, patient-centered communication, leadership development and customized growth strategies that improve lives inside and outside the practice.

Vision. To become the premier consulting firm for restorative, cosmetic and specialty dental practices seeking sustainable growth through exceptional patient experiences rather than transactional sales.

Core values

What we hold to

  1. Relationships first

Patients do not buy dentistry. They invest in people they trust.

  2. Integrity always

Every recommendation serves the patient's best interest.

  3. Excellence without ego

    Great practices never stop improving.

  4. Systems create freedom

Consistency lets a team give the same care every day.

  5. Accountability creates growth

Clear expectations and measured results produce the outcomes.

Our edge

What makes Reel Patients different

Maria has spent nearly three decades inside successful practices rather than advising from the outside. She has managed teams, coached treatment coordinators, built marketing systems, written operational workflows, raised production and reshaped the patient experience herself. That is the experience behind every system Reel Patients installs.

When patients feel heard, teams feel valued and doctors have systems they can trust, growth follows.
